I am a Palliative Care physician in Colorado. I had the opportunity to participate in a conference with Kim Mooney of Practically Dying and, wow, she is fantastic! In a field that is all about the language we use, Kim’s language is clear, direct and fun. I have never laughed so much when talking about dying. Our conference was for community members and, as I looked around the room, everyone was very engaged and enjoying Kim as much as I was. Practically Dying is the perfect name for Kim’s organization because she truly succeeds in taking some of the fear and anxiety out of the dying experience.

Kim came highly recommended and presented at a large community event we held. Kim’s knowledge, humor and grace make thinking and learning about a difficult topic much easier. She motivates listeners to consider life and death in new ways…and she’s a dog lover.

I have had a busy Elder Law practice in Boulder and the Front Range for over 20 years. For most of that time, I have known Kim Mooney.
