End-of-life preparation is about:

  • understanding how families can make a death into a good memory or a tragic legacy
  • knowing how to ask the right questions
  • developing advocates as you travel through a medical system that is not always equipped to help people die comfortably or at peace
  • creating strategies that give you and your family the best opportunities to make sure things go as you want them to go – or as close as possible.
