Advance Care Planning Workshop
We live most of our lives in control, making choices from our deepest values.
And yet, at the most vulnerable time of life, when we are dying, most of us don’t understand what our choices will be or how to stay in charge of what happens to us. Designing skillful plans now helps you shape your ability to face your mortality with peace and gratitude. Preparing now is a gift for those who love you, helps avoid medical emergencies, and builds powerful legacies for those you leave behind.
This interactive workshop takes you into the end-of-life landscape that people must understand in order to navigate the journey. Special guest speaker, Dr. Ellie Hughes will discuss end-of-life medicine and choices.
By the end of the day you will walk out with vital information, powerful strategies and personalized advance care documents that will all support your ability to stay in charge and have your goals honored.
With Kim Mooney, Certified Thanatologist and special guest speaker, Dr. Ellie Hughes, a hospice and palliative care physician.
A follow-up phone consultation is included to help with your completion of documentation.
