CIVHC Connect: Caring & Preparing for Serious Illness
Join CIVHC and Kim Mooney on February 22nd at History Colorado for an interactive day focused on caring and planning for serious illness.
Serious illness will affect us all, either personally or through loved ones, at some point in our lives. Preparation and knowledge of the nuts and bolts can provide comfort in a scary situation. As Change Agents, there are also ways we can improve the system to support those going through serious illness.

Practically Dying is an end-of-life educational and support resource whose mission is to help people remember how to engage birth, life and death as opportunities to live without hesitation, and die without regret. Kim Mooney founded the organization using her twenty-six years with hospice, crisis intervention experience, and bereavement program development as a groundwork.
Through workshops, trainings and private consultations, Practically Dying works with individuals and families to help you understand and assess your needs, develop a personalized plan, find the resources you need, and establish a team to support you through the complexities of death and dying.
