The Facts of Life and Death: Fact One: They’re Not Separate
We each want our personal values to be honored throughout the story of our life until the very end. But dying is complicated, and that may not happen at the end of life without forethought and preparation. This presentation introduces basic information about dying and death that can help inform mindsets, options and choices when medical cure is no longer possible.
How do my options for care change? Will my values be respected? What do I need to have ready to help my family prepare? We will discuss relevant practicalities and resources, and perhaps most importantly how to weave our lives and deaths into a powerful legacy for our families and friends.
Presented by Kim Mooney, internationally recognized Thanatologist and founder of Practically Dying, LLC, who encourages talking about dying by talking about living.
